Scope


Concept of the seminar


Each seminar will be on one of the following items, which has to be chosen by the speaker

  • current research talk - should include already some results on chromatin or its components
  • journal talk - presentation of an interesting paper (or 2-3 papers together) regarding chromatin or its components
  • overview talk - overview of a certain problem, method, theoretical derivation, etc. of common interest for chromatin investigation
  • conference/workshop talk - report on a chromatin conference/workshop including details about the most interesting talks

    Every talk will be 45 minutes plus 15 minutes discussion.


    Participation


    Every PhD student, Postdoc, etc. working on chromatin is welcome to present his work and/or give a talk on any of the items listed above. Everybody interested should send information about his talk (title and short abstract) at least one week before the forthcoming seminar. In case of more than one request, the organizers will choose the speaker and the topic based on the abstracts submitted.
