3D library of auxin related compounds:
class 1:strong
and moderately active auxins,
class 2:weak
auxins with antiauxin behaviour,
class 3:
inactive compounds,
class 4: antiauxins.
The classification of compounds into the classes
was performed based on their energetic interaction properties and is in
accord with measured biological activities. The classes contain about
50 compounds and represent a basis against which to classify "new" compounds.
This set is periodically updated, and each compound in it is classified using similarity analysis of its molecular interaction fields and comparison to the classes defined above.
Chemscape
(version 0.9 beta for SGI) CHIME is used for visualisation of the molecules.
Currently only the 8-bit graphics version of the Chime
plugin is available for the SGI platform. Therefore, on a Silicon Graphics
workstation, you should start your browser in 8-bit graphics mode. For
Netscape, this can be done with the command:
netscape -visual pseudocolor
legend: class no. = class into which compound is classified, cpd new no. = compound identification code, cpd old no. = compound number in auxins/table 1 of [1].
