Scope:
The postgenomic era (as it is often called) aims at an increasing
understanding of the complex biochemical network which is present
in each cell, rather than at studying individual functions of specific
enzymes
and specific genes. This is a very ambitious goal. The 2nd Workshop on
Computation of
Biochemical Pathways and Genetic Networks will focus on the current
state of research
in this area at different levels of abstraction. Bringing together
researchers with different backgrounds will enrich discussions on the
best methods,
as well as on the difficulties and limits imposed by the complexity of
the
problem.
There will be a bus shuttle available from Heidelberg downtown to
the workshop venue and back. Since there is only limited parking
at Villa Bosch, please make use of it.
Registration
The number of workshop participants is limited to 50. There is a registration
fee of 100.- DM (130.- DM if you want to attend the
workshop dinner). This fee is due on your arrival
at the workshop. Registration
is now completed. We strongly advise you to book accomodation rather
early in time, since June is already tourist season in
Heidelberg. You can find informations concerning
accomodation at Heidelberg hotels .
!!!Sorry! We are full! Registration is no longer possible!
